Jellyfish:

I choose this piece that had a floating lemon and it was squirting seeds out the end of it. I decided to change it up and use a jellyfish with a human eye.

I used paint to create my project. I also finger painted a little bit. I used short brush strokes.

Penguin:

I was inspired by my little sister because she loves penguins and she told me to draw her one, one day.

I created this piece because it would be something cute for my little sister and she would love it.

Clay:

I made this piece because I have a lot of random objects at my house and I don't have anywhere to put them so I made this.

I first molded out the clay, next I made the coils, after that, I made little coils then shaped them into spirals.

Butterfly:

I was inspired by my mom because she loves butterflies and I thought it would be cute to draw her one.

I used watercolor and pen and ink on this piece. I used different colors on it also.

Owl:

I created a colorful owl with colorful fingerprints on the background of the canvas.

I used acrylic paint to create my masterpiece.

Artist Statement

Anna:

I decided to draw anna because she is a good friend and she's nice and I thought why not just draw my best friend. When I was creating my piece I drew a grid, then I mapped the outline of the picture out. I went in a drew the details like in eyes, hair, mouth, etc. After I finished all of that I colored it when I was done.

Vase:

I don't have an inspiration I just drew what came to my mind. I started off dark on one side then started going light on the other side.

Fruits:

I like fruit so I decided to make it come to life. The first thing I did was draw out my fruit and then I drew their facial expressions. The last thing I did was paint the fruits and sign it.

Fish:

I don't have an inspiration I just think aquariums looks nice and cool that why I did it. I used line a lot and color the most in my piece. I used a lot of colors like red, blue, yellow, green, and orange.

Pumpkin:

I decided to do a pumpkin because Halloween is coming up and it is my favorite holiday and they also taste good too. I used the colors orange, yellow, black, red and brown the most in my piece. I also used line a lot, and texture the most.
